Areas still to cover

There are opportunities for more people to become Area Advisors for Home-School Tutoring as Associates of Home-School Tutoring UK.  As one of our Associates, you would be the owner of your own tutoring business under our umbrella.  You would need to have business skills and experience or the aptitude and desire to run your own business.   Ideally, you would have experience of education / and /or teaching qualfiications.

All the areas we cover so far are listed on this web site; if you put in your local town or post code you will see if your own area is already taken.    Most of the rest are still available. 

At the present time we are particularly seeking a new Area Advisor for the counties of WEST SUSSEX And HERTFORDSHIRE.   If you live in either of these counties and are interested, please contact Margaret Sweetland – see below.

To summarise:

  • We particularly look for people who have business or marketing experience, are excellent managers with computing skills and a background in teaching or education.
  • You would be keen to find good and exceptional teachers and tutors in your area and to build links with parents, students, teachers, schools and colleges in offering tuition services.
  • We need people who agree with our ethos of good service, and who find fulfillment in helping students of all ages to discover their potential.
  • You would need to be well-organised, diplomatic, have excellent communication skills and lots of initiative.
  • You would need capital for the initial financial investment to join us and then the on-going monthly licence fee, all the time you continue with us as one of our Associates.  
 
This type of business is particularly suitable for those who initially have other means of income and wish to supplement or build a portfolio of income streams; it is ideal for those too who already give tutoring, or who wish to do so or those who have a background in teaching/ education with business skills.  
 
Home-School Tutoring is a people-based ethical business which supports our schools and colleges, our children and young people  – and adults too of any age - with their  learning.  Our experience is that each Area business grows over time into a successful and fulfilling local business with local referrals and recommendations.  Most of our Area Associates stay with us for many years, so once your area is taken, we regret that it is unlikely to become vacant again for many years.
