Home-School Tutoring in Greater Birmingham and the West Midlands

Our private tutors in this region cover Birmingham, Dudley, Halesowen, Sandwell, Solihull, Stourbridge, Walsall, Wolverhampton and all areas in between.

If you would like to check that your town or village is included, the ‘Areas Covered’ section to the right provides a full list of the Greater Birmingham and Midlands postcodes served by this team of tutors.

We provide individual tuition to primary and secondary school pupils across the region as well as sixth form and college students.

If your child is in private education or hoping for a place at a grammar school or independent selective school, our experienced local tutors can help prepare them for the 11+ and individual entrance exams.

We can also provide personal tuition to students at the University of Birmingham and other higher education institutions as well as adult learners studying at home or on work-based courses.

Private tuition for all subjects and ages

Individual or group tutoring is available for all ages in a wide range of subjects.

Within the Birmingham area, like most of the UK, the most popular tuition subjects are the core curriculum subjects of English, maths and science. However, we also support many students with a variety of other subjects, both on the curriculum and extra-curricular, including foreign languages, humanities (especially history and geography), music, computing and business.

Our tutors also help many students develop more effective revision and exam techniques to prepare them for GCSEs, A Levels and entrance exams.

Our SEN tutors support students with learning difficulties, including dyslexia, and we also support children and adults with literacy and numeracy.

Our home tutors are also very happy to offer tailored lessons to children who are being home educated.

Committed to high standards

Qualification certificates, references and enhanced DBS criminal record checks are required from all tutors applying to join Home-School Tutoring. In addition, we ensure that all our tutors are committed to upholding our aims and standards. To find out more about Home-School Tutoring take a look at our About Us page.

You can find out more about your local Area Advisor, Carol – who is also a primary school teacher – in the ‘Area Advisor Details’ section above the enquiry form.
