East Yorkshire Tutors for all subjects and levels

Tutors are needed for primary school children through to all specialist subject choices for GCSEs, A levels and university.

Needed particularly are tutors for maths, biology, chemistry and English.

We also always need more tutors for help with literacy, numeracy, special needs and learning difficulties including dyslexia.

Sarah is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional with extensive experience as a primary school teacher. She is committed to ensuring the academic development of pupils of all ages and abilities whilst contributing to their pastoral care.

Sarah is a qualified maths and English teacher who has taught in schools, colleges and also lectured in English as a foreign language (EFL) at the University of Hull.

Sarah is also a writer who writes and publishes educational teachers’ packs, so has a very good understanding and up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum. She is currently writing a teachers’ pack aimed at the key stage 2 science curriculum focusing on creative approaches to learning.

In addition, Sarah is studying for her DipTesol Diploma with Trinity College, London as well as tutoring.

Sarah has a long association with Home-School Tutoring as a successful home tutor.

Sarah has been a private tutor for many years now, helping students at primary level through to 11 plus entrance exams, GCSEs and A levels.

She has had the pleasure of supporting young people in their learning and seeing them grow in confidence and go on to fulfil their ambitions and dreams, which has given her much joy and satisfaction.
