About Our Tutors

All of our Tutors are graduates and/or qualified teachers who enjoy tutoring. They aim to encourage pupils to build more confidence and understanding and to achieve better progress and results.

Many of our Tutors have specialist qualifications and experience:

  • some are examiners in certain subjects for the various exam boards;
  • others have experience with very young children;
  • some have special qualifications and experience in teaching pupils with dyslexia, autism or other special needs;
  • some are particularly skilled in pastoral care and in teaching good learning skills.

Each Area Advisor
aims to recruit teachers, tutors and educational specialists in the local area so that, between them, all subjects and levels can be offered to all ages; children, young people, adults. Even a short course of lessons can made a difference.

Each Area Advisor has a duty of care and will have personally ensured that the governmental guidelines for the protection of children and young people have been followed. For each tutor, the Area Advisor will have checked:

  • Personal and professional references
  • CRB Enhanced Disclosure Certificate
  • Confirmation of qualifications
