West Midlands & Greater Birmingham Tutors (Birmingham, Dudley, Halesowen, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton)

We provide effective, supportive, bespoke tuition either face-to-face or online.

Our fully vetted, qualified and experienced teaching professionals are on hand to assist with your, or your child’s, learning. We provide effective tuition for all subjects, abilities and ages, from Early Years Foundation Stage up to Degree level qualifications. We can also help with Entrance Examinations (9+, 11+ and 13+) and Home Schooling.  We create individually tailored lessons and our goal is that our tuition sessions are engaging, encouraging and enjoyable in order to accelerate progress. We can do assessments alongside tuition as well as provide progress reports and self-study resources.

    Hello I’m Carole and I head up Home-School Tutoring West Midlands. I manage a brilliant team of tutors across this region and we look forward to helping you with your tutoring needs!

    As your local area advisor, I am committed to ensuring the academic development of pupils of all ages and abilities whilst contributing to their pastoral care.

    My background is in primary school teaching and so I have good understanding of the National Curriculum and the procedures associated with its application. I also continue to tutor myself and I specialise in the use of a variety of visual aids, learning techniques and incentives aimed at enhancing children’s motivation levels.

    I really do believe that ALL children have the ability to reach and fulfil their potential and that’s why I love what to do – both teaching and now running Home-school Tutoring West Midlands to help ensure that they can achieve this.

    I consider myself a friendly and caring person and I strive to ensure that both the tutors and the pupils are matched well and are happy with their arrangements and the tutoring experience.

    Our Tutors offer a wide range of subjects

    This includes the main core subjects of :

    Maths, English, Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology ) and modern languages such as French and Spanish.

    We also help with:

    • learning difficulties  and special needs for any age including dyslexia
    • learning English as a second language
    • SATs, Common Entrance, GCSE, AS Levels, A levels, and Advanced Higher learning
    • 11 plus ( 11+) entrance exams
    • Adult learning

    Tutoring can also be given for home-schooled children or those having home education for a short period.
