We provide effective, supportive, bespoke tuition either face-to-face or online.

Our fully vetted, qualified and experienced teaching professionals are on hand to assist with your, or your child’s, learning. We provide effective tuition for all subjects, abilities and ages, from Early Years Foundation Stage up to Degree level qualifications. We can also help with Entrance Examinations (9+, 11+ and 13+) and Home Schooling.  We create individually tailored lessons and our goal is that our tuition sessions are engaging, encouraging and enjoyable in order to accelerate progress. We can do assessments alongside tuition as well as provide progress reports and self-study resources.

    Welcome to Home-School Tutoring West Berkshire.  We have a team of tutors for all levels, subjects and ages and we look forward to helping you.  We offer in-person tutoring or on-line tutoring.

    I am the Area Director and Tutor Manager for both this West Berkshire area and Oxfordshire too. I myself have been involved in teaching and training for over 30 years and have taught in both the private and state sector. With two boys myself, one in University and the other in Sixth Form, as a mother I understand the importance of education and providing children with the best start in life. This can include additional help provided by highly experienced tutors.

    At Home-School Tutoring West Berkshire we have a growing team of Tutors who share our love of learning ensuring they provide the best tuition for our Clients. All our Tutors have DBS Enhanced Certificates and excellent references.    

    We are currently looking for more experienced Secondary Tutors due to demand. Teachers and tutors please do make contact with us, thank you.     We aim to offer tutoring in as many subjects and levels as possible with experienced, supportive tutors.   For all ages and levels.  Most  subjects can be offered in each area at all key stages, including for: primary level, entrance exams, SATs, the Common Entrance, GCSE, A level and pre-university or undergraduate level.

    The subjects and levels we tutor include:

    • Maths: all mathematics and numeracy levels from basic through to advanced
    • English: literacy, English studies, including grammar and literature
    • English learning as a foreign language ( EFL)
    • Science including Biology, Chemistry and Physics
    • Geography, History
    • Please ask which language you are needing help with or would like to learn.  We offer many good language teachers for various exam levels, including GCSE’s and A levels and who are also fluent speakers for advanced learning.
    • Help for those who have special needs.  We have patient and caring tutors who are practiced in understanding that every child has their own learning style and learns at their own pace.

    A scholarship offered  

    Our chosen Berkshire Independent School entrance exams seem to have gone well on Wednesday, no results yet but Annie said Maths was her favourite!  She has now been offered a scholarship.
