Throughout Tyne and Wear/Northumberland, Home-School Tutoring helps pupils of all ages – from primary level through to secondary school and beyond. Our personal tutors work with students from schools throughout the region, including state schools, special schools and private/independent schools.

Many college and sixth form students also benefit from private tuition, as well as students from Newcastle University and Northumbria University.

We also support a number of adult learners in the area, whether they are studying for work or personal benefit.

Support for all ages and subjects

Individual and group lessons for English, maths and science are always in demand for all key stages but we also provide home tuition in many other subjects, including all curriculum subjects and many other extra-curricular ones.

Whichever subject or level you need support with, Joanne will search her register to find you a local tutor who can help.

Students studying for GCSE or A Level exams can make sure they are fully prepared with tutors who can help students understand each subject’s syllabus while improving their revision and exam skills.

If your child needs help preparing for the 11+ or an entrance exam for a place at a selective school, our experienced local tutors can provide the support and guidance they need.

Children who are anxious about upcoming SATs can also develop greater confidence with a supportive home tutor.

However, students of all ages can help overcome difficulties or gaps in their understanding with short or long-term home tuition.

Our private tutors also help students requiring support for literacy, numeracy, dyslexia, learning difficulties or special educational needs (SEN).

Home-educated children in this area also benefit from lessons with our home tutors.
