“Trevor is absolutely first-rate and could not be bettered. He sought information well in advance, with which to very thoroughly prepare; offered a helpful follow-up service; and was articulate, highly experienced and knowledgeable about A2 & AS syllabus/exams. Professional throughout and good value too!” (Mr Andrews, Cornwall)“My daughter’s confidence in doing maths has been boosted greatly, and she is now starting to believe that she CAN do it. That’s with thanks to her patient and understanding maths tutor, who makes it fun and interesting every week.”

Triple checked tutors
To make sure all our tutors provide a high standard of service that is both safe and supportive, Home-School Tutoring’s Area Advisors check certificates of qualifications, references and the results of an enhanced DBS check.
Our tutors’ qualifications
All prospective tutors must provide us with certificates proving they have the necessary qualifications to tutor in their specialist subjects.
References
Area Advisors follow up references for all prospective tutors. Referees must confirm an applicant has the necessary ability and experience to provide a high standard of home tuition before we accept them on our register.
Enhanced DBS checks
Home-School Tutoring awaits results of enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (formally known as Criminal Records Bureau or CRB checks) before accepting tutors.
Enhanced DBS checks are the highest level of criminal record check and help us to safeguard our pupils’ safety.
