Hello, I am Lucy, the Home-School Tutoring Area Advisor and Tutor Manager for Bedfordshire. I have worked in Education for 16 years, both as a teacher and a senior leader, and believe passionately in providing children with the tools to enable them to succeed in life. Having 3 young children of my own I recognise how hard it is to balance parenting and education whilst maintaining a happy family dynamic.
We know that not all children learn at the same pace and many require additional support in order to help them achieve their potential. Carefully tailored individual or group tuition can be a beneficial way of increasing their confidence in a safe and nurturing environment, allowing them to progress alongside their peers.
We are currently living through challenging times as regards education and recognise that some children could make accelerated progress, particularly those who have missed chunks of their education, but need some focussed 1:1 teaching in order to achieve this.
At Home-School Tutoring Bedfordshire we are committed to recruiting the best tutors and matching them carefully to the students based on their experience. We offer individual or small group teaching and can support home-educated pupils as well as those with special educational needs and English as an additional language.
The safety of all our pupils and tutors is of the utmost importance to us and all our tutors have been fully DBS checked and have excellent references. We offer face to face and online tutoring depending on your child’s requirements.
We would love to be able to help you and your child by providing bespoke educational support. Please feel free to get in touch.
