We provide effective, supportive, bespoke tuition either face-to-face or online.

Our fully vetted, qualified and experienced teaching professionals are on hand to assist with your, or your child’s, learning. We provide effective tuition for all subjects, abilities and ages, from Early Years Foundation Stage up to Degree level qualifications. We can also help with Entrance Examinations (9+, 11+ and 13+) and Home Schooling.  We create individually tailored lessons and our goal is that our tuition sessions are engaging, encouraging and enjoyable in order to accelerate progress. We can do assessments alongside tuition as well as provide progress reports and self-study resources.

    Welcome to HOME-SCHOOL TUTORING EAST BERKSHIRE

    My name is Nicola and I am the Area Advisor for Home School Tutoring East Berkshire. Having taught in local schools and also tutored for Home-School Tutoring for some years in this area, I am delighted to be the Director and Tutor Manager for this region.

    We cover Ascot, Windsor, Maidenhead, Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, Crowthorne and the surrounding areas. I love helping students of all ages and I am regularly registering more tutors to join my local tutor team of good teachers and tutors. Together, we offer students personal tuition in many different subjects and levels of tutoring and other special learning services too. We aim to provide our clients with tutoring that helps build confidence and progress and suited to their own individual learning styles, whatever the situation.

    We are proud to be an approved tuition provider for RBWM (Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead) and are supporting students for them currently. We also are working with local schools supporting students who need tuition. In addition, we are partnered with exam centres including Tutors and Exams, so that we can enter students for their exams.

    A little more about myself as your regional Home-School Tutoring Area Advisor: I have been teaching and tutoring for over 20 years and have worked in both mainstream and special education, primary and secondary. I have also worked in alternative education settings such as a children’s hospital, and provisions for children who are too ill to attend school or who have been excluded. Throughout my varied work I have become passionate about teaching 1:1 and have seen the progress that can be made with individualised learning when personal learning styles are identified.

    I also know, as a parent, how difficult and stressful it can be to observe your child struggle or appear to be making little progress, whatever their age. My own son has had some wonderful teachers in our fantastic local schools, and it has been great to observe his development through them identifying his needs.

    To tutors or teacher in this region: I look for tutors who are committed and passionate. So that we can appropriately match our tutors to the needs of students, we need more to join our team.     We are also very interested in helping looked after children and students who are out of school education for reasons including illness and exclusion. We would also like to help children who are out of school due to acting commitments. We are therefore looking forward to working in partnership with schools, LEAs and colleges and other organisations.
