Home-School Tutoring Gloucestershire: Who are we and what can we offer?
Hello, and thank you for your interest in Home-School Tutoring Gloucestershire. We are a local tutoring organisation, owned and run by myself, Cora Griffiths. I grew up and went to school in Gloucestershire and am now both a fully qualified teacher and parent myself with two primary aged children. I feel incredibly lucky to do the work that I do, combining local knowledge with the expertise of being both a teacher and parent.
I am very aware of the different ways that we all absorb learning and the importance of teaching to inspire and build self-confidence. I pride myself on recruiting a team of tutors in this region who share my passion for learning and who adapt their tutoring to the student’s individual needs and requirements. With extensive subject knowledge, all tutors have in-depth insight into local schools’ teaching methods and assessment processes, enabling them to support the student’s educational progress.
We support children and young people who are attending school, as well as those who are educated at an alternative setting. Tutors can teach sessions in-person at student’s homes, schools, colleges, charities and other organisations and in addition can also provide provision via online video lessons.
We provide support for students of all ages and levels of need and across all national curriculum subjects.

Tutoring for all levels and subjects:
We aim to offer tutoring for all levels and subjects as much as possible - so please do get in touch with your enquiry!
- We understand the schooling system in the Gloucestershire area, and tutor pupils in state and independent sectors and we have made strong links with exam centres, schools and Outreach departments.
- I am very proud to be the preferred supplier of tuition and educational services for the Gloucester and Forest Alternative Provision Schools (GFAPS), helping children unable to attend mainstream education as a result of emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Main subjects and courses we offer:

- Advanced Higher Levels
- Adult Learning
All of the above subjects are offered in each area at all key stages, including for: primary level, entrance exams, SATs, the Common Entrance, GCSE, A level and pre-university or undergraduate level. We also have a wide range of other subjects - so whichever the subject - please get in touch!
Tutoring can also be given for home-schooled children or those having home education for a short period.
TUTORS WANTED: English & Maths tutors for GCSE & A Level are wanted in all areas of Gloucestershire. We are looking for tutors who offer quality tuition and have excellent skills. Science tutors and all other national curriculum subjects are also welcome to apply.

A level results joy

Mechanics A grade!
