I’m Helen Manly, the Home-School Tutoring Area Director for Bath and Bristol AP and EOTAS. I have worked in education for over 25 years. I have worked 1:1 with children with special educational needs, Looked After Children, and for 15 years as a primary classroom teacher and tutor.
At Home-School Tutoring Bath and Bristol AP and EOTAS, I lead a dedicated team committed to supporting children who are outside of mainstream education. We specialise in providing EOTAS (Education Otherwise Than At School) and high-quality alternative provision for primary, secondary and post 16 students, tailoring our approach to meet each learner’s unique needs. With a strong focus on inclusion, flexibility, and individual progress, we work closely with families, schools, and local authorities to ensure every child receives the guidance and support they need to rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve positive outcomes. Our tutors teach a range of subjects for different age ranges. They are also skilled at preparing Young People for qualifications as well as facilitating access arrangements for exams such as functional skills in maths and English, iGCSEs, GCSEs and A levels.
The safety of all our pupils and tutors is of the utmost importance to us and all our tutors have been fully Enhanced DBS checked, registered on the update service; are insured, and have advanced safeguarding training giving commissioners and families peace of mind.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss putting together a bespoke package for your learner.
