We provide effective, supportive, bespoke tuition either face-to-face or online.

Our fully vetted, qualified and experienced teaching professionals are on hand to assist with your, or your child’s, learning. We provide effective tuition for all subjects, abilities and ages, from Early Years Foundation Stage up to Degree level qualifications. We can also help with Entrance Examinations (9+, 11+ and 13+) and Home Schooling. We create individually tailored lessons and our goal is that our tuition sessions are engaging, encouraging and enjoyable in order to accelerate progress. We can do assessments alongside tuition as well as provide progress reports and self-study resources.

I am Marianne Harrison, the Area Director for Home-School Tutoring on the Isle of Wight, supporting families across the island’s main towns including Newport, Ryde, Cowes, Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor, Freshwater and anywhere in between. I love the Isle of Wight having spent many holidays and day trips there as a child including a memorable sailing camp on the Medina River.

With over twenty-three years of experience in education, I have worked in both state and independent schools in the UK, as well as overseas. More recently, I have also worked as a Forest School Practitioner, which has strengthened my belief that children thrive when their individual learning styles are recognised and nurtured.

As a mother of three energetic children who are all so unique, I marvel at how each child has separate interests, abilities and are inspired by different things and my challenge is to find these hooks and develop them as individuals.

My aim is to foster a genuine love for learning amongst the children we tutor. I have seen how one-to-one tuition can transform confidence, unlock potential, and inspire curiosity.

I lead a team of well-qualified and dedicated tutors; and take care to match tutors to the needs of each child. We also enjoy working alongside the Local Education Authority (LEA), supporting children both in schools and through tailored home-based tuition.
