Joy Mason MBA BSc (Hons)
Joy Mason is our Home-School Tutoring Area Advisor for North West London.
Joy has worked in well known London independent schools and colleges in senior positions and she brings all her skills and experience to this North West Area of Home-School Tutoring .
For several years, Joy has been an experienced Governor and is currently Chair of Governors in a local Junior School and Vice Chair in the neighbouring Infant School. These positions give her an excellent overview of the national curriculum and the changes taking place at each Key Stage.
She has also had responsibility for giving many students advice about university entrance and helped many students apply successfully for competitive courses like medicine and dentistry. Her own subject speciality is Chemistry A level ( and she will be able to offer herself to tutor some of the students who request that). Joy loves her subject and really enjoys teaching it.
Joy has a passion for caring for students' well being and believes that building students resilience can be the key to helping them perform their best. Many of her students stay in touch with her and she takes much pleasure in hearing about their success. She is committed to ensuring the academic development of pupils of all ages and abilities whilst contributing to their pastoral care.

We offer private ( or small group tutoring ) in most school and college subjects , including the following , in which tutoring vacancies are still available in several of our London areas, at this point of time in the academic year:
Maths Tuition : Key Stage 1, 2, 3, 4, GCSE , A level, Including special needs, dyslexia help and support, for primary children, students and adults. Helpful Maths tutoring by skilled professionals.
English, English Literature tutoring ; including help with basic literacy, reading, comprehension, dyslexia and learning difficulties tuition. Also tutoring for GCSE English, A level English and English Literature, EFL, help with English for those whose first language is not English. Tutors are available .
Science Tuition : we have science tutors for Chemistry , Physics and Biology Tutors ; some offer GCSE tutoring, some A level tuition.
Languages : tuition is currently offered in French, Spanish .
One of our Art and Design tutors also has spaces for students -BTech 1 and 2.

Besides primary, GCSE and A level, we can also cover Entrance exams, 11 plus , Common Entrance, pre-university or undergraduate level.
