Hello, I am Lucy, the Home-School Tutoring Area Advisor for London West. I also am the Area Advisor for London North and North-West too. I have worked in Education for 17 years, both as a teacher and a senior leader, and believe passionately in providing children with the tools to enable them to succeed in life.
Having three young children of my own I recognise how hard it is to balance parenting and education whilst maintaining a happy family dynamic. I also know, as a parent, how difficult and stressful it can be to observe your child struggle, whatever their age. My own child has had wonderful teachers in our fantastic local school, and it has been great to observe his development through them identifying his needs. As parents we would do anything necessary to support that progress at home.
I am passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential and have seen first-hand the difference that tuition can make. Carefully tailored individual or group tuition can be a beneficial way of increasing their confidence in a safe and nurturing
We are committed to recruiting the best tutors and matching them carefully to the students based on their experience. By listening carefully to a family’s requirements, we can find them the most suitable tutor to complement their learning style. We offer individual or small group teaching and can support home-educated pupils as well as those with special educational needs and English as an additional language.
The safety of all our pupils and tutors is of the utmost importance to us and all our tutors have been fully DBS checked and have excellent references. We offer face to face and online tutoring depending on your child’s requirements.
We would love to be able to help you and your child by providing bespoke educational support. Please feel free to get in touch.
Best wishes

Recent Testimonials:
"When I first got in touch with Nicola, all the way back in July 2022, David and I were hoping that we could find a tutor, who would help Kodjo navigate the English curriculum. It is our strong feeling however that you have gone above and beyond any expectation that we could have had. While he has clearly made dramatic improvements academically, we have also seen his confidence increase significantly and this is largely due to the fun and supportive atmosphere that you build as a tutor. Most importantly, your early instinct that Kodjo had additional learning needs prompted the timely diagnosis of his ADHD and dyscalculia. We are in no doubt that without you, this diagnosis would have been made much later. In short, we are incredibly grateful to you for everything that you have done for Kodjo and we feel extremely lucky that our paths crossed in his primary school journey." Yr 6 tuition, Ealing (April 2024)
