Our fully vetted, qualified and experienced teaching professionals are on hand to assist with your, or your child’s, learning. We provide effective tuition for all subjects, abilities and ages, from Early Years Foundation Stage up to Degree level qualifications. We can also help with Entrance Examinations (9+, 11+ and 13+) and Home Schooling. We create individually tailored lessons and our goal is that our tuition sessions are engaging, encouraging and enjoyable in order to accelerate progress. We can do assessments alongside tuition as well as provide progress reports and self-study resources.

Hello, my name is Vicky and I am delighted to be the Home-School Tutoring Area Advisor and Tutor Manager for East Sussex. Together with my husband Chris, we have had over 20 years experience of teaching, tutoring and educating and it is a real privilege to be part of any student’s journey into learning with increased confidence and enjoyment. As an established tutor myself, I know that sometimes this can be tutoring support for a particular and specific purpose, whilst for other pupils and families it can be long-lasting learning support and encouragement.

We offer tutoring throughout the whole of East Sussex – including Rye, Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Brighton and everywhere in between. We love working with our tutoring team - and we are always developing our comprehensive network of tutors for all ages and subjects across the region. We welcome more to our team on a regular basis. We enjoy building long-lasting relationships with tutors who, like us, wish to help students fulfil their academic potential and develop their self-confidence.

I know how well and how quickly students can progress with the right support. I always bear in mind the quotation from Benjamin Franklin: “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” I aim to make my lessons engaging, creative and inspiring.

My own specialism has been in foreign languages, a real passion of mine. In addition to that, during my time teaching in a local private school, I developed a deeper interest in Maths and through further studies and learning have developed my teaching skills in that. It was a valuable experience for me as a tutor to be reminded how it feels to be a pupil.

We would love to chat with students and parents if you are considering taking some extra tutoring support, as we know that starting home tuition can be daunting. Whether you need additional tuition whilst attending school or college, we can help you, or whether you are a home-schooling family. For the latter, we can share our own experiences and support you, as we home educated our own three children up to A-level, so we fully understand the commitment needed.

All our tutors set their own rates but they generally charge (per hour):

Primary Level	KS1 from £30 an hour KS2 from £30 an hour
Entrance Exam Preparation	From £35 an hour
Secondary (up to GCSE) Level	From £35 an hour
A-Level / BTEC / IB	From £45 an hour
